... All things Penn State!

About the Chapter

The Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association was formed so alumni and friends in the middle Tennessee area could meet one another, stay connected, and share their Penn State pride.  You do not need to be an alumnus of Penn State in order to become a member; friends, family, supporters and fans are all welcome (and encouraged) to become a part of our chapter today!

Since our re-organization in 2006 our chapter has received the Alumni Association’s Group of Distinction Award three times!  This award recognizes chapters that have surpassed the Alumni Association’s requirements for activities, charitable projects, communications, membership, and much more.  This is not an easy task for new chapters to accomplish and we are very proud of all the hard work our Board and members have put into working toward this goal each year.

If you are interested in volunteering your time we would love to hear from you!  We have opportunities available at all levels of time commitment, so feel free to volunteer as little or as much as you like!  We are always looking for board members, committee members, and individual event planners and assistants.  If you would like to volunteer, please email us at info@nashvillepennstaters.com or contact one of our committee chairs directly.
